Fire and gas detection systems
Trade Tech offers its own inhouse-developed fire and gas detection systems for installation in skid frames and containers.
Our systems are designed to monitor environmental conditions and to detect variations that may be associated with incipient fires or gas leakages. The systems can respond to smoke, heat, flame or gas (combustible or toxic). We also supply SIL 2 compliant versions.
Typical functions of a fire and gas detection system:
- Shutdown of non-hazardous equipment
- Personnel alerts
- Release of fire extinguishing systems
- Isolation of local electrical equipment (if not carried out by ESD)
- Initiation of ESD and PSD actions
