About Trade Tech
History
Trade Tech was established in 2001 as a supplier of electrical, instrumentation and automation products and services to the oil and gas industry. We specialized in electrical and automation systems, control panels and electrical motors. Since 2003, we have operated with a DNV-approved ATEX workshop.
From 2011 to 2016, Trade Tech was owned in part by a HitecVision investment fund. During this period the company evolved to become a recognised supplier of equipment packages to operators, EPCI and drilling contractors, as well as well intervention and other oilfield service companies. The equipment packages ranged from complete modules, stand-alone control and monitoring systems for various systems and equipment, to relatively simple equipment enclosures and junction boxes for use in safe areas, as well as ATEX-/IECEx-certified equipment for hazardous areas.
In 2016, the company demerged from HitecVision and has since developed independently into a one-stop-shop for complete modules, products, equipment packages and associated lifecycle services, including corresponding third-party equipment.
Throughout its history Trade Tech has established a long list of well-satisfied and returning customers at all levels of the supply chain, including offshore operators, contractors, rental companies and OEMs.
